Nate the Great, Nice to see you in the WSJ.. I like this part.

His actions infuriated the likes of David Tepper, head of Appaloosa. They also served as a call to arms for small investors in the case, many of whom lavished him with accolades on Yahoo message boards.

Tepper was PO'ed.. We knew that. Good Job Mr Nate!

People should email/call the Teep-ster, call him a baby.
And that he couldn't trade his way out of a wet-paper sack if he didn't try to 'fix' it first.

remember that the primary job of WSJ writers is to write copy that will garner readers, and therefore advertising & subscription revenue... this is a GREAT article to put up now, as there are a large number of people interested in WaMu in the past two weeks, there's a longstanding "us vs. them" mentality for small investors going up against the whales in the open market, plus the timing of the insider trading crackdown of recent.

I don't read anything into it other than it's a good article to sell newspapers with.
