From the article it sounds like he owns common and not Pref.
Based and the figures given, yet they clearly state Pref shares.
Hmmmmm

The numbers don't add up on with my experience here.

I'm not saying you couldn't have bought Pref KQ/PQ and then the HUQ's for very low prices in the past, but he'd be up a hell of a lot more than 10 times his money.

I think that the suggestion was that he would not attempt to tilt at such a large windmill again. I don't think that he is out.
