"That deal has paved the way for the bank to exit from bankruptcy and gives the little guys a chance of recovering some of their losses"

HAS being the operative word, for the bank to exit bankruptcy.

Sounds like a done deal to me. It's over we win. Even the media is foreshadowing.

Thanks for the link, damoni.

Very nice article about Nate, however its purpose is to exonerate the Hedge funds.

No wrongdoing by the hedge funds was proved by the investigation ordered by Judge Walrath. Appaloosa and Centerbridge, as well as Aurelius Capital Management and Owl Creek Management, were ordered to divulge trading records and answer questions from lawyers for common shareholders.
The funds declined to comment, as did Washington Mutual's attorney.

Thank you for sharing your found with us. It is thrilling to note that there is a change of mood in the mass media tilting to the shareholders. We certainly hope this kind of mood will size up in the near future. As such the facts about wrong doings done by JPM, FDIC, Hedge Funds can be revealed. Yearning for justice to prevail is not such a fantasy, isn't it? Are there any hope in our legal system? IMO

Nate the Great, Nice to see you in the WSJ.. I like this part.

His actions infuriated the likes of David Tepper, head of Appaloosa. They also served as a call to arms for small investors in the case, many of whom lavished him with accolades on Yahoo message boards.

Tepper was PO'ed.. We knew that. Good Job Mr Nate!

Nate's-Photo portrays him as a-beer-drinking-smoker-in-a-Bar.

You would think there was a nicer photo, but then they want to discredit him anyway they can.

Wow, can't believe the WSJ has this on their front page. And it talks about the settlement as if it's a done deal. The WSJ wouldn't say that unless it really is a done deal.

Kudos to Nate! Who would've ever thought a single retail shareholder could completely alter the course of a multi-billion dollar court case?

Time to type up my resignation letter. Can probably submit it by the end of the month. :) Is there a Millionaire-Mensa club, anyone? ;)
