wow, love your sig here, that says nearly all about the investment world :)
you are right, deals can be delayed.
but why they first go and shout it from the roof "woooohoooo ! we will have a giant deal by thursday" (or at least the equivalent of shouting something from a rooftop, ie the PR) and then only start to think "hmm, could be delays.."
that is my exact point.
Everybody *knows* deals can get delayed.
Smart people or real business people, keep quiet while discussions are going on, and then release the news.
Now they are putting themselves in the corner, as being 100% sure something will happen, but then it never happens.
It has nothing to do with being a pink sheet stock or a big board stock. That is just plain unprofessional.
On the one hand here people are defending SNRS and their lack of communication becasue they once said in a PR that "we won't disclose much info because we don't want our competitors to know", but at same time they are screaming things into the air prematurely all of the time.
How ridiculous is it to say last monday that "expect many updates to both sites", and now wednesday evening and not a letter has been changed ? I mean, c'mon.
How can you expect a starting company which is so sloppy in everything, to pull in 300M contracts ?? They'd probably come 6 hours late to a meeting the other party set at 10am.
