Got news for you, those talks were due to a friendship between Keith's son and the CEO of XTO son's who happened to go to the same school.
Now looking back, aftering many direct meetings and discussions with KAA, this relationship between Hemi (KAA) and XTO (CEO) was nothing more than a friendship between son's but KAA did a great spin to make it appear that it was much more which now is clear that it was not.
