I've been watching COBI lately and refused to buy in at the beginning of the week JUST BECAUSE of the amount of 'promoting' it had seen on so many breakout boards.
This is a good product, a good company and seems like a pretty transparent CEO with a smallish float.
I am not a PennyLand expert, but IMO the 'paid promotions' hurt stocks more than help them, often because the promoters are paid with shares. The newsletters/promoters are must wait their allotted times (2-3 days) before selling, but they usually just dump their shares and leave. I think the 'paid promotions' may help a stock immediately only about 25% of the time. Who knows, maybe they can show increased volume after time - but it always seems to kick the 'long & strongs' in the teeth for 2-3 weeks.
I'm buying in today because I think COBI is stronger than normal companies in PennyLand and will rebound quicker. Even if it goes to where it was, I can get a 3 bagger. Sorry for the downturn for those established here, I've been there before. I have started to sell when these newsletters come in just to average in at a better price.
