Even aside from Baraka's now (in)famous inflammatory words in that poem (which I had never read in its entirety before), I find it juvenile and shallow. It pins blame on a ubiquitous "them". I think Pogo told a more profound (though just as obscure) truth in his still famous sentence, "I have seen the enemy, and he is us." It is a variation on Isaiah's "I am a man of unclean lips" from long ago. Until these now obscure truths become common sense, we will continue this stupid and murderous dance.
