I cannot criticize your decision. I still think there is a chance that the markets could put in a rally, but I think the only way that will happen is for the Fed/PPT/ESF to lead the way. With recent history in mind, especially the comments by Greenspan and Bernanke, that possibility can not be ignored.

ZH - The N Korean Gov is one of the most repulsive organisations on this planet. They starve their people , beg for food aid and make nukes to give to other lunatics.
The time is comeing that we ought just to clean house once and for all. No more Munichs and appeasers it will cost more lives in the end. Yes a lot of people might be killed if we hit them but a lot more will be killed if we don't.
It is really sad that after the War we have to see all this happening again but it is happening because they percieved weakness and with the asymetric nature of modern weaponry they will feed upon our perceived weakness.
ZH BTW I now agree with your estimate of sub-1,000 for the NAZ. It is clear that what Mr G refers to as a "Soft Spot" is indeed a very very soft spot so much so that with everything they have thrown at it the economy is still sinking.
They have broken the back of the US economy, its citizens propserity and that of much of the World to boot.
Since it seems positively Scrooge like to go to bed with cash on this eve, I too have divested myself of most of it.
