The Bush administration is incompetant in foreign policy. They are coming across as arrogant and beligerant. This attitude does nothing but inflame the the geopolitical situation.
Meanwhile, at home they are busy stripping us of the Bill of Rights and other constitutional guarantees.
Even Greenspan is citing these tensions as a negative on the US economy.
I am hoping that the US is is institutionally strong enough to endure this presidency without permanent damage.
