Many years ago.....
My first experience with these shakeouts I freaked out with one of my holdings. I had stops in place and watched it taken out only to see the stock reverse. It was at 17.00 and dipped to 11.00, stole my 12.00 shares, then reversed that day to 16.00 and in weeks it went as high as 75.00 before it did a reverse split... Hmmmmm I continued to watch it....
Back then they said protect yourself with stops... Hmmmmmmm
Then I learned from smart investors, dont use them, the MM's will take you out every time....
If you are an active investor dont use them MM's will move it down themselves just to seal them and create profit for themselves while leaving you empty handed....
Lessons learned over time... LOL
