S4 surprisingly enough, the comments to the local paper are predominately pro process, most reasonable folks want to see the process and study's before shutting down the project. The sentiment of the Alaskan people has been changing the past few months from the position of NO mine to let's see how the studies play out. GLTA

Absolutely right S4S - While preserving the "wild salmons" is good but certainly does not outweigh the National Importance at this critical juncture to exploit domestic reserves to spur our economy. The locals cannot dictate what this nation needs - All this Bristol Bay nonsense is not going anywhere.

If there is no money, these tree huggers should realize that NO ONE will be BUYING those wild salmons for lunch! I think a few for their own agenda are doing this opposition against Pebble. This country is not going to leave those GREAT DEPOSITS sit idle - It is of National Economical Importance.
