Let's pretend that we don't believe the Mississippi River Valley ha sendured the greatest flood in 8 decades.. Or that Joplin Missouri just got flattened in what is shaping up to be the deadliest tornado season on record... or that Texas is in a drought of historical proportions. That's just here off the top of my head.

Let's also pretend that heat waves didn't decimate the Russian crops last summer, or that the 2 billion people who depend on glacial melt for water are going to be ok.

After all, reality is subjective. It's all in what you believe.

Who cares what the individual thinks relative to science. It's large masses of people who at times thought the world was flat or that evolution is not a fact. Or who think God will save us from our own stupidiy. The danger is not what the individual thinks but the masses convinced of thinking really stupid things because the powers that be need them to think that way.
