becoming a board member is not exactly career-threatening. Basically all he is doing right now is getting paid to (maybe) meet quarterly. Now if he left addax and took a real job at ERHC, you might have a point. Board jobs are about as cushy as they come for a company as small as this with basically no real operations.

I think you are way over-estimating Blair's level of activity with ERHE. He is on the Board. He is also CEO of another oil company. None of these Board members has been active in the day to day activities as far as I can tell and doubt Blair is either. He was offered a bunch of freebies for being a Board member of ERHE and he took them. Although he is probably the most competent person in the entire company, I don't share the feeling that just because he joined the Board, that everything must be great. I am seriously concerned about a potential conflict of interests as well. He could very well be competing against ERHE in many ways.

That reply from Dan was from May 6, 2010

and you make a good point that Blair is still with us, wouldn't he have looked for another highpaying job in the meantime, if this was going nowwhere?

On the other hand, maybe he doesn't give a ..., and he is just collecting his paycheck for doing almost nothing? Easy money?

Who knows...

In fact,no one can dispute the POSSIBILIY that Blair is a SNP/Addax placement on the BOD of ERHE,in which ERHE was required to include Blair on the BOD...as part of the deal.

That would bode well for ERHE,but if SEO sold 100 million shares, what are the possibilities in a good return on investment?
