Heh, the guy I spoke to on the phone about the acreage is not among the people I know who are planning to short (I guess if they can find borrow shares) on a JF-Visit-Pop -- He does not short stocks which is why he stopped his DD on SIAF after that issue.
I have quite a bit of credibility, I would think, from my history of posts over the past 2 years on iHub about all kinds of Chinese smallcaps (How else do you think I got 200+ people following my posts on iHub?). Your more than welcome not to believe anything I have to say though -- I certainly do not need your approval.
I would say I seem to have much more experience with regards to the overall Chinese RTO space than you do (Some of it painful!), someone who has only posted on the SIAF board in all this time on iHub. Do you own any other Chinese RTO? If not, I hope you have not 'fallen in love' with your company, that tends to often be a mistake.
The funny thing about your accusations is I have a strong long bias in my natural investing style (Which is why I've been long some companies that I probably should not have been in this trying time for Chinese-RTO's!). The few companies I have been negative in the Chinese RTO space have done quite quite poorly, I certainly do not have a track record of 'crying wolf' on companies that end up being clean. Heck, I'm not even crying wolf about SIAF at all, I only passed on something I heard from a source that has been reliable in the past -- Thats all!
Your right though, maybe I should get further real data on SIAF before saying anything. I'll talk to my friend Maj from GeoInvesting about getting his investigation team to take a close look at SIAF's operations, China documentations, land rights, and business licenses. At least that way, if things are clean, we will know.
