After jumping through hoops and making contact with the bureaucrats in Puno, it seems Affinity's original flagship project "AMR Project Peru" did indeed have it's EIS approved (EIS = Environmental Impact Study). It seems the approval was granted in the original project name "AMR Project Peru" (which was/is a subsidiary). Considering that since the study began, the project name was later changed to "Affinity Peru SAC", there may be a few kinks to work out with the locals - but it seems things are back on track. Considering the Mineral Lease Agreement that Affinity entered into with Consorcio Misenia, S.A.C., I'm sure we're in very good hands with that project.
Now add in the new Camanti project - this just adds more value - and for me personally this seems more intriguing and could possibly have more impact much sooner.
Props to Mr. Sandberg for sticking with this!
