How do you know it is a sell?

You can't know even from Level II.

Could be a buy at Bid. Happens ALL THE TIME over here.

If it was an actual sell, it's pretty sad. Take away the commission and this is a handful of bucks.

Oh how easily we are confused by the walnut and pea game. You must look more sharply my friend. That was a bid whack buy at 12. Someone got some shorted shares real cheap. What they did was walk right past bids that are out there but are less than 5000 so no one can see them and they filled a bid whack for 12. I know someone is very happy for himself. Everyone else can forget it. They are like the streets in Phila. One way.
