Paul, look over the charts, and tell me how many days the COMP closed over the 50SMA (after closing below for one day) after putting in a major top following a ramp off a major low.
I think you'll find only a handful. For example, from mid-January last year when we closed below the 50SMA, there were two days in March where we closed above it (tops) and 8-days in August.
That's 10-days over 10-months we were above the 50SMA after the initial close below. Similar results can be found in Sept. 2000-Jan. 2001, Feb. 2001-April 2001, and June 2001-October 2001.
That's something I respect.
