I stayed up very late last night to pick put new GM car researching the oddles and oddles of rebates, special consideration, cash back, employee discounts and mulitple credit card rebates.
I was a little too profane but please excuse me but put your short back on GM because I getting about $14,K off MSRP on $24K car. <g> Dealers are dropping up to $500 less then their cost and GM is giving additional "special" considerations if you act by 1/2/03. This is in additiona to any thing published. Iraq war talk is going to kill the car business short term.
PS shorts feeling pain now but longs holding S&P DEC contracts got screwed since yesterday decline was nothing more the screw the long index holders out of what appears to be have been a fair S&P market settlelment of around 897.
