Penny land is made up of a combination of shells and walnuts and peas to hide under them and then there is smoke and mirrors. I harp on the mm because in the case of Telvue that is the problem we face. Don’t think for one minute there are not a group who promise and PR and promise and PR some more. More and more each day from the commercials you watch on TV to the things you send your money in for it’s a constant struggle to grab the bucks you have and if they take them all that’s OK with them.

It’s dog eat dog and the first bite counts. Do unto others before they do unto you. A friend is someone you can always count on when they need you.

Do your own DD. Find a real company with real products and a future as bright as the sun. Take your time and slowly accumulate at the best price you can get. Investing is not a horse race. You don’t buy a ticket and wait till you win. Investing is a continual battle to build something you can be proud of over the years. Something you can pass on to your kids as I will pass on to mine.

I agree with you Jack. Unfortunately, most of my friends and acquaintances view the world with a much shorter time horizon than the young folks you mentioned.

My own portfolio is comrised of some issues which I could sell tomorrow at a profit if need be, and others that I expect will do very, very well for me if I hold onto them for a while. And others that will require holding even longer than that.

And remember: Where there's a Will, there's a relative.
