Everyone has a motive.. "Prior to the publication of this article, a third-party investor with whom TheStreetSweeper has a profit-sharing arrangement effected a “short sale” of 89,715 shares of the stock of iBio, Inc. at $5.31 a share with the intent of profiting from decreases in the price of such stock. TheStreetSweeper will share in any profits the third-party investor realizes from the short sale."

Janice: The fact that Etrade refuses to answer questions posed by me as to the shares reflected in my account is very telling to me. The fact that the company is being investigated is not unumsual, in fact, this is part of the standard procedure from what I can tell. When those short get in deeper than they should they call in the regulators in an attempt to bail them out. We know also that they call in other favors in order to get the cavet emptor label affixed as well. These normally go along with a hit piece or two which I believe you are quite familiar with.
Patrick Byrne talked about what to expect years ago when he first began his battle with naked shorters. Most of what he cited then has proven to be true.
