Packer9,
"9bruce I have been in charge of annual audits from a company side many times"
I used to be an auditor with what is now Deloitte & Touche.
"They send any proposed audit adjustments to what the company had for financial reports"
A key question is always what proposed audit adjustments did the auditors propose & what were not included in the final fins.
"A lot of how long that takes depends how fast companies review and respond. How many changes to what auditors first propose"
Centa will respond the same day, no worries there imo. This meeting can take place face to face so it can be cleared up relatively quickly imo based upon the size & number of adjustments.
"They can promise final delivery by a date but is all depends on when they can get it done. "
A new client (which Centa is & paid more money to expidite the audit process btw) gets preferential treatment (the auditors want Centa to be a permanent client) to a certain amount but a first time audit takes more time as the accounting systems, people, schedules, etc. are all new to the auditors.
"From what I see the auditors are telling him weeks are needed based on their schedules"
The auditors should have been able to tell Owens how long when they first started, it won't be weeks from now imo. Owens paid for them to be ready last week so it should be imminent (meaning early next week) unless there are major issues which there shouldn't be imo.
