#3589 RE: Dumerthanmost #3588

Dumerthanmost (funny name, but awkward when trying to shorten it!)

Thank you for your input. Actually, I was about to ask the board if anyone had heard anything from Steinberg or wanted to contact them.

This is very valuable. Based upon our counsel's suggestion, I will refrain from sending in my votes and simply abstain.

I do want to participate in re-organized WMI, but I think that I can, pending conclusion of the case, simply take my cash payout (assuming that it happens) from the LTWs and re-invest in WMI if that is my choice.

I also think that keeping things fluid is a good choice. I had stated before that I would very much like stock, but I do not want to elect to do something that seems counter productive to the class counsel.

Again, thanks for your comments and input!

Best Wishes,

Jared

Excellent point of view, and makes lots of sense.

I was not going to (and will not), return my ballot for my 15,000 DIMEQs.

My wife was going to return hers (2,500 voting DIMEQs as of Record Date), to accept 100% payment in stock, but given the information you have suggested, I am going to ask her to re-evaluate.

I would be tickled pink to take 100% cash if/when we get bumped up to Class 12, and let the others K-Mart the hell out of this carcass.

A bird in the hand vs. 2 in the bush. I'll take my bird in my hand (although I am a big fan of some bush).

If Rodent had his way, we'd all be getting the finger - you just made our decision easier: NO WAY IN HELL THAT MY WIFE AND I WILL BE GRANTING THESE CRIMINALS ANY RELEASES.

I don't care how compelling the new common stock is, I will not be giving them "a get out of jail free card." Some of the Hedge Funds may be needing these REALLY bad.

And I don't mind making them pay for it. Double-entendre very much intended
