Creditors receive cash, LT interests and stock.

Box 1 provides an election to receive stock in lieu of Creditor Cash for that portion, while Box 2 gives the holder the option to receive stock rather than a LT interest.

Thus, if you opt for the "all stock" route (and there is enough to go around), you will end up investing just like the hedge funds.

Those who do nothing will get stuck with cash, LT interests and a smaller stake.
