Thanks for that formula, Augie. Scanning your chart and the way that indicator seems to presage tops and botttoms, it looks like we should be able to work up a decent strategy for backtesting.
It may be this evening until I get to it, however. In addition to testing the 3-SMA of the stochastic, I am going to work up another custom moving average, something like 50% for the most recent day, 35% for day2 and 15% for day 3.
