Qui..the time in a pincher trade varies...if I have time to babysit the trade I will hold til MACD fast line starts to turn sideways..then I close..but if time is limited I simply close for a few pips and wait for another setup.
On the price reversing you spoke of ...the key is to watch for the extreme pinch BUT...keep an eye on the fast line..it tells the story on entry/exit....the tight pincher helps by having a good chance that most traders are going with you rather than half with you but half against you....that kind of equlibrium causes whipsaws in the market...you want most players long when youre long
