Keep in mind Medlink has two products. One is an installed GUI application that they have had for years. The other is a web based application which they acquired via Medappz in late Nov 2010 - so it had almost no 4Q exposure.
For the installed GUI application the recurring revenue is paltry compared to the sticker price. That would be the product they sold in Q2 and Q3 largely via RHIO deals. Those revenues are going to be mostly one time.
Going forward starting in Dec 2010 they are able to offer MedAppz iSuite - the web based solution. The monthly $350-$500 fee for iSuite is a substantial portion of the initial price.
Medlink will get some additional revenue ($3k-$5k?) from the initial training - but the revenue quickly becomes recurring.
A lot probably hinges on how good the iSuite is. It needs to be more than adequate. There isn't a huge fixed investment if physicians want to walk away and try something else.
The other part of their revenue is integration services for labs and hospitals. Those could be millions of dollars of 2010 revenue. I really wish they would break down revenue by product line.
