Actually on your chart the top trend line is passing "through" the 1522 peak, as I can see from your graph a bit of that peak sticking above the trend line. So make sure the two peaks are BELOW the trend line. In your graph they are not. You may want to use a bigger scale on your graph so you can plot the trend line more precise.
Not sure about the trendline (I don't use them that way) but however you look at the trends, that is an ugly bear flag we just broke out of. That is why I re-entered my shorts on the close.
