My experiences with Wal-Mart were on the vendor side. The best way I know for a disgruntled employee to challenge an employer is to find another job.

I doubt if a shareholder will be happy with a $6 billion increase in salary expense.

That being said, I still hate Wal-Mart.

Interesting

I was ask to invest in a company that looked for land for Wal-Mark' stores. That was in 1987.

Sam Walton would sit at the front door and welcome people as they came into the store. He was a great person.

(I didn't invest.)

He also said he wanted Hilary Clinton as his First Board of Director's.

Her fee would be $20,000.00 for each Board of Directors Meeting and it did not matter whether she attended the meeting or not. She accepted the offer.

And we now see the difference in wages.

The Walton family are very generous people. A friend of my brother and Sam Walton's sister are in the same home for the elderly and she takes all the people in the home on a trip each year and pays for the trip. So I have been told.
