JBII's process has no economically viable competition.

Landfills are more economically viable than Agilyx's process. It is more profitable with a better return on investment to open a landfill than use the Agilyx process.

Economically speaking, JBII's process competes with landfills more than Agilyx.

Waste Management makes more money per ton landfilling plastic than the Agilyx process makes per ton, and that's even ignoring the extreme expense of the Agilyx process.

Agilyx has no competition in terms of their product.

Nobody else I know makes a "gel-like substance" that has to be heated the whole way to the refinery or it turns into pudding.

I know JBII sure isn't competing with them on their gel-like substance. Agilyx has a monopoly on gel-like substance products it seems to me.

JBII competes for freedstock like a wind warm competes for air.

Since both waste plastic and air are in seemingly endless supply and growing by a massive clip every year, it's laughable to call anything "competition" on the issue of feedstock. Just like a wind farm that uses air to power its systems, until there is a shortage in waste plastic or a shortage of air, neither JBII nor Wind Farms compete for feedstock.
