Was there a definition of what "warehoused" means?
As used by Roche, the term refers to patients who would have started treatment with Pegasys + ribavirin if not for the fact that Telaprevir is expected to be approved in the next few months.
Such warehousing caused Pegasys sales to decline 15% YoY in 1Q11 despite retaining a worldwide market share of 75-80%. Roche expects the decline in Pegasys sales to turn into robust growth when Telaprevir is approved, as the shorter duration of treatment for some patients is outweighed by the addition of the warehoused patients to the treatment pool.
