F6, first thought was that some TeaParty like people would probably object .. 2nd thought in reading was
those doctors sound as though they can be trusted, and all the others in Japan and in Europe .. then i read ..

But Japan's Nuclear Safety Commission has resisted the idea, citing the "physical and psychological burden" for the
nuclear workers and the lack of consensus among international bodies about the desirability of collecting the cells.

to which my initial reaction is BULLSHIT! Without reading any others on this it seems to me
a better response would have been to see how the workers feel about the idea .. then there was ..

Some critics also charge that the collected cells would have only limited utility. If the workers are exposed to a mild dose
of radiation, their bone marrow will heal itself. And if they are exposed to a severe dose, then their intestines and other
organs will be severely damaged in addition to the bone marrow, so there is little purpose in replacing only the bone marrow.

Well .. on that only if i were one of those workers i would say to the ones who
proposed the idea .. wth . why not if you think it may be worthwhile .. let's do it.

Lol .. that's just me .. based only on your one article, the negativity of the others does not appeal.

It will be interesting to see if it happens.

Late thought .. if i were one of those brave, utterly unselfish workers one
of the last i would trust would be Japan's Nuclear Safety Commission.

Sheeesh .. what the five doctors have proposed surely couldn't hurt.

And it could help down the track.
