Don't forget about the Bayou Couba subsalt plays that Dune has. The deep subsalt was evaluated by EXXON in 2008 @260 BCFGe @ 20,000 ft in Miocene sands and the Bella Luna salt flank prospect @290 BCFGe. The 3D is all done and Exxon was their JV partner in 2008 when the markets crashed and drilling plans were scrapped. I do know that Dune is now actively working on this project again.
I also know that there is a subsalt play at the Leeville field @ 18,000ft in Miocene sand. 3D indicates 220BCFe . There are also many very nice prospects on the salt flanks of the structure.

Hey geopressure great post. One last question, in ur last post you said you were only going to play this stock short term, how come? If this well is bigger than the mnlu well why wouldnt you stay for long term?
Is there something that bothers you about this stock?
Also what makes MNLU more appealing to you than DUNR?

I only ask since I know your in the buisness and for someone who doesnt know the in and outs of the oil and gas if theres something not quite sure about the stock I would rather just leave it be than spending the time to do serious DD when theres other ppl who know a whole lot more in oil and gas then me and know not to waste there time.

Thanks again, cflo92
