no idea why the big jump for week of 3/11 - anyone?

The GPO contract Sandoz won effective 3/1/11 may be showing up in the script numbers to some degree because there is some overlap in the IMS databases for hospital and retail pharmacies.

Monthly Branded and Generic Lovenox Scripts

I’ve converted the weekly script numbers to average weekly
figures for each month, which gives a better picture of the trend.
Since the launch of generic Lovenox on 7/23/10, the generic has
increased the number of scripts and the script share in every
month and the script share is now >80%. The big bump in
Mar 2011 is explained by ‘sodrock’ in #msg-62029438.
