NO,NO,NO you are completely missunderstanding the concept of buys and sells.There is no difference between a buy and a sell,except for the spread in price.OK,lets say 100,000 shares are sold in a day,it follows that 100,000 shares were also bought.They are the same shares obviously.But if 60,000 of those shares were transacted at the asking price of 1$ then they are considered Buys.If the other 40,000shares were transacted at the bid price of 99 cents ,then they are considered Sells.The distinction is only to indicate which direction the pressure is on the stock.More buys at the asking price,than sells at the bid price would indicate upward pressure on the price,and vice versa
