A transaction is considered a "buy" if it takes place at the sellers "ASK' price,and is a "sell" if it takes place at the buyers BID price,and I'm not sure but may also be a buy if it's higher than or equal to the last buy price,and a sell if equalto or lower than last sell price.Not sure about that last part.
