#3445 RE: Ace Hanlon #3436

If it wasn't for the fact Hayden is incompetent i would applaud his intent.
But is skills collapse beyond letter writing.
I repeat the major turnout for the Republican Convention "protest" was as pathetic a protest in the history of the protests going back to 1960.
Of the maybe 10 thousand with cahones that did actually protest with a near 2,000 ending up incarcerated, none of these were associated with Hayden, they are the people Hayden would suppress.
I have written maybe 10 attacks on Hayden, i will NEVER write of him in the positive.
If someone can not reach the young and all protests that are "love me i am Liberal" in their 40s and up, under Hayden lead will be exercises in useless movement.
Hayden is an egotistical control freak politician that would be a gift to the protest movement if he dropped dead.
Think of an Ortega versus a Hayden, and one can see what a sick joke Hayden is.
Think of the Zapatistas of today's Mexico versus "the love us of we are liberal and march politely and write letters to our congresspersons"
Dean remains attached to the Democratic Party, as long as he remains attached to the Democratic Party he is of NO use.
I am going to repost my post laughing scornfully at Nader for his delusional claim that his movement is bigger than the 60s---
o yes will i write a letter to Howard Dean at Hayden's request? Answer: NEVER!
**************************************************************

Regards Dean
Howard Dean has had plenty of time to step out and form a third party and be A MAN that does not resort to the political claptrap of our imaginary two-party system.
Dean's time is up, he has been tested and has shown he has no stomach to break and truly go against the grain.

Nader's delusion:
<<The anti-Iraq-war movement showed its power before the war, putting millions of people in the streets. We were years ahead of the growth of the antiwar movement of the Vietnam era.>> Nader is hallucinating.
We were far more vigorous and tactically FAR more superior than what Nader is jabbering about.
Why were we? Because of Berkeley and because of the Civil Rights movement and because of SNIC and because of YIPPIES(those taunters the high and mighty) and i can go on and on.
Because college campuses were in a fever across the land.
Because of mass RUDE confrontive behavior.
Because the energy of the Black Power movement and the Black Panthers. Because all was alive it was In The Air, we had presence.
Nader , give me a BREAK, the anti-war movement now has the fire and passion of wet newspapers.
I repeat Nader is hallucinating.
I will repeat the March against the war at the Republican Convention was as badly planned a March i have ever seen.
The moment Hayden decided to OBEY the NYC demanded route and time frame to march and he SURRENDERED to POWER and castrated the anti-war movement.
I salute those several thousands that did NOT march like a herd of obedient sheep when in NYC.
But hard FACT movements come from College Campuses, they are the engine-----there be no engine now.
Waiting for Laird to say something about the failure of America, of its people, then to rather cast blame relentlessly on a few.
Phil Ochs, bless you fellow, i wish i could see you now alive and singing out LOVE ME I AM A LIBERAL in all its aggressive satire of liberals.
Fact, a large amount of the anti-war movement was simply RAD, get into it, shake trees, cause tumult----
I would drag my near 64 year old bones to a site where i thought there would be passion and heavy duty confrontation, why not, the only thing you have to lose is your life, and man that is a guarantee for everbody from the day they are born.
I state we are a scared people.
That is why the Peace March organization in NYC OBEDIENTLY agreed to march exactly as that was permitted and in the precise time frame they were allowed---fear, they were afraid, or let's just say they were SCARED.
MH shouts and yells in posts, but BY GAWD he believes Keep Off The Grass signs should be obeyed--- classic "Love Me I Am Liberal"
