In some cases its going on now. Powerful special intrest-groups are finally meeting some resistance.
They are trying to get popular-support by confusing the issues and what really is at stake. One example is the currently-contested state supreme court Justice-election in Wisconsin.
Liberal intrest groups claimed victory by a 200 vote margin....and then it was found the an entire districts votes had not been counted...at all!...A recount will surely be done, as it stands now with the "missing" votes added....the liberals lost by 7,000 votes. (but don't expect them to accept it gracefully.)
The former govener raided all kinds of accounts to steal cash to support his agenda's. He's the same one that said if the carry-law passed, he would use veto. I believe the direction of "Poltitical-winds" is a-changing.
I've told many, "If you don't like what happens in government...vote your mind in all elections. Every election!"...Usually voter turnout for elections of Justices are very small, but the power wielded by opinions from those Justices shape how laws are interperted...

Vote them out as you say and keep doing so until we have politicians from We The People (not elitist we have now) who will serve We The People, and this means electing politicians who are willing work on getting back to as much as they can to the Constitution as it was created within reason. This means removing some Agencies (IRS-Flat Tax), Laws (Like on Guns), and reducing our Government in size.

Everything the Government creates to regulate and help it has damaged, shut them down and let the public take these back into hand and let natural selection happen. We don't need a Board Of Education, Department of Agriculture, United Nations (pull out), FEMA, Obama's Heath Care Plan... reduce and/or remove them.

The Federal branch of the government was to be the smallest of the three, not the monster it is now with its gasped around out throats. Example: Obama wants to hire 5100 more IRS agents to enforce his health plan?! 38-Czars that answer only to Obama and not We The People?!

It's time We The People get involved in our government.
