Yes, penny stocks are tricky. They have both great risk and great reward. For those willing to do their DD, they offer a high chance of great reward. I was in pharmaceutical stocks a couple of years ago. We were all awaiting FDA approval. It never came, though the hype on it was extraordinary! Then I was in another pharma and it was in phase II trials. I got out when I found out it was running into problems at this phase.

As I understand it, ILNS is still in phase I trials, is that correct? That means (unless they can get on a fast-track program with the FDA) that they will have to finish phase I, phase II, then phase III...and then they have to await FDA approval. This can add several years yet to the drug getting onto market. What I would hope happens is that a buyout occurs so that the bigger pharma could buy the company, or patent rights if they didn't want the company. There is a lot of questionable activities behind the scenes at the FDA where one wonders if the big companies manipulate the FDA to their whim. That is another reason I hope for a buyout. If some big pharma buys out ILNS, that will not only speed up the chance for making a profit here, but eliminates the phase I, II, and III trial periods plus the hope that the FDA will approve this NDA. In the meantime, after the reverse split, I will enter at the time where I think we have a (local) bottom.

thanks alot for all the insight! i am a new investor and i think i made what turned out to be somewhat of an impulsive buy at .0013 on fri. what im wondering is if i should try to put in a sell for the same just before open on monday. is there any chance that i will get it sold?? should i hold onto it. unfortunately, when i read the news, i didn't think the r/s was bad and now i know but is there any chance of a dead cat bounce??

thanks
