The 747 thing.......claimed as simply as pencil thick with no other details is bogus........but anything is possible when increasing the scale of it. You can stop a 747 with an ethernet cable, but it would be miles long............who cares. I am not interested in ridiculous far out science fiction like stopping a 747 in flight, who gives a ......, what matters is mechanical properties......i.e. tensile strength, flexibility, toughness.......kblb silk isnt at full spidersilk properties yet anyways so........i dont really bother with stuff like that.......
