heck they arent even finished developing it yet..and they have yet to determine if they can compete with kevlar or any other product...

If you mean developing=getting to homozygocity, then that is open to interpretation as it has not been publicly announced. Noone expects our current transgenics to compete with kevlar. only you are surprised by this.
