namo daily cum is now at aug lows.....threatening to challange the oct 02 lows. The one thing that I'm questioning is the bullish divergence on macd on both namo and nymo......does it mean anything?

To be fair, only count lower trendline breaks. And that is still 6 of them. I agree that the NDX has started a bear trend in the long term picture. But the SPX, OEX, DOW have not. And it still could just be a consolidation cycle for those.
