#7695 RE: spokeshave #7692

Spokeshave, I, too, have no problem with reasoned negative commentary on a stock - or any issue, for that matter - as long as it doesn't use shock or charged words - like "fluff" and its ilk - to make its point. That represents, to me, a lack of considered thought and, in its context, imo, represented an attack on the company and its mgmt. In fact, I don't think that your prior
post was negative at all. You drew no blood from the corpus NVC, and left the reader (at least, for me) feeling that you have respect for the subject and that truth was observed. You certainly did NOT attack the company, as had Miler.
As for carpe fermentus - I"ve never run across that one. I read that as either "seize the argument" or "seize the beer" (I'll drink to that!). How far off am I? LOL

GOOD MORNING NVEI INVESTORS
Spoke, I will disagree with you on one point. While buying a million shares is certainly more news worthy than buying 56,000, or the other amounts purchased by management, it is significant in regards to the finances of the people involved. Cooper is the only one presumed to have the ability to purchase a million shares. Management has been working without taking salary, and are not millionaires(as far as we know, and certainly without selling shares).

John was working for $15,000 a year cash, plus stock and has just changed jobs, closed escrow on a house, and has now managed to come up with $35,000 to buy more stock. Expressed as a percentage of their available funds, this was indeed a monumental statement by John. Remember it wasn't that long ago John was being criticized for having to sell some of his stock to meet expenses.

I am not attacking you in any way. Your contributions to this board are very much appreciated,
Ernie
