I think many have expressed their concerns over the involvement with BB. Really a double edge sword.

On the positive it will really show the company has the good to be a player. Even though it wasn't their money it would be clear they garner huge respect in the industry. It would also allow better deals on goods sold to BB.

Now on the negative it could become more of distraction then a benefit. BB is such a disaster that the man hours could be overwhelming. Also if it doesn't get turned around TDGI would feel a portion of that brunt.

I like the fact they are out but was always on the fence over whether it was good or bad.

I would think most longs on this board coulda cared less about the BB deal. I for one am relieved that its over so we can concentrate on the business at hand. Lots of people entertained the the BB bid as to what would happen if HH got it, but most here pretty much knew it wasnt gonna happen. Most on the board were impressed that they could even be in the mix with certain investors to bid on it. So I don't think this board had a "turn of events" about the BB deal. It had benefits and negatives no matter which way it went. But with it going to Dish Network, compared to one of the liquidation bidders, is a good thing for TDGI. With it going to Dish TDGI doesn't lose a big client, and will gain from having a client that wasn't doing well become one that will likely do fairly well under Dish's solid business leadership and compatible business.

Blockbuster was worth looking into I think. Just because the investors that HH was working with didn't win the bid or possibly determined after further review that their money would be better suited elsewhere doesn't mean all was a bust for TDGI in my opinion.

Of course I would have preferred EP partner with Icahn in creating a next generation distribution channel, but BB w/Dish means there will be an additional distribution channel for HH; this is good news in my book, especially when compared wth the alternative of the elimation of BB imo.
