Excellent response Mike...well thought and good questions. I must apologize for not making certain things clear from time to time due to contraints on how much info I can actually provide to you/the board. I'm often on the edge and prefer to never give information on heresay. I will at all times try to be factual rather than hopeful.
You are most likely correct when saying that Medify will probably not be reaching 10% penetration with MedifyRemote for patient notes in year one. That function is typically reserved for doctors and RN's/medical assistants. However, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if we did get that 10% penetration because as the units roll out there becomes a frenzy over the "I want one too" syndrome so common in humans...new toy euphoria, etc. For clarification, I was referring to 10% of the 1.4m healthcare workers based on the MedifyRemote for the educational platform. Further, from my last post, please remember we will now be getting, in some cases, multiple revenues from the same user...both usage fees for the MedifyRemote PDA and fees for the educational platform.
Regarding the speed at which the NHS operates, I agree, govenmental entities are normally slow to embrace new ideas/technology. However, go back and read the article on Medify's website about the NFfIT and how they are funded and moving forward with massive changes in data storage/retrieval as a convenience and cost savings measure for the whole NHS. The NHS has mandated that changes will occur and Medify's remote solution is just the ticket. Again, many nice surprises will be coming our way very shortly which, when formally announced, will allow everyone to see the big picture much more clearly.
