Tom's River Surgery has a statutory lien on the patent. they are not the patent holder.

IMGG (apparently) owes them a debt, and Tom's River Survery placed a lien on the patent because they want to be paid.

obviously Tom's River Surgery sees $$$ in the IMGG patent, otherwise they wouldn't have even bothered with the lien on it.
