jugy, do you have permission from HH to use their logo in a manner that is other than its stated purpose ? I noticed you have "AUDIT" across their trademark. JMHO, but I believe that you are modifying their registered trademark and that is a violation, if I am not mistaken ...

Jugy,

You seriously claiming that Twelve has done less than $200K?

LOL. Don't forget to include DVD/Bluray/VOD, etc. TDGI teamed up with 20th Century Fox and sold a TON in the home market. I believe that a similar team effort could have been VERY beneficial for HTYMP -- probably even BETTER than what TWELVE is doing. They got their $200k in the box office, but was that really worth turning their back on HH + 20th Century Fox?

Time will tell -- though I guess we'll never really know what might have been.

LOL, I guess if you considering paying millions more for the film rights & P/A than Twelve, and making only $20k more "doing better".

Bob: "Hey I spent $2 million on a film that made $180k in theaters"
John: "Well I spent $5 million on a film that made $200k in theaters, I did better!"

LOL... sure. Ok.

Anchor Bay knows what they are doing, they did a small opening for HTYMP and think word of mouth will create a buzz for the movie.

Too bad they are losing theaters and making less and less each week. I wish Anchor Bay the best, hopefully HTYMP does really well on DVD for them like Twelve did for HH. I'm just glad Eric dropped it so that HH's money isn't tied up till DVD revenues come in.

Give it up, Juggs! HTYMP has bombed! End of story! Apparently Anchor Bay DOES NOT know what they are doing, or the movie is just that bad. Having seen it, I'm inclined to think its a whole lot of both. If there was going to be a "word of mouth buzz", it would have happened by now. Now maybe Anchor Bay will continue to throw money at this dog, but how long will theaters allow the turd to eat up one of their screens without any decent payoff? This movie has a chance of recovering on DVD/Blu Ray...just like Twelve...but I don't believe we need to pursue movies with that type of thinking. Either the movie gets marketed properly for a theatrical release, or it needs to go straight to video or passed up altogether.

Give it a rest man. You can't and won't ever convince me that keeping HTYMP would have been a good idea.

Did Twelve bomb at the box office? Absolutely! Were lessons learned? Absolutely! I believe Eric and company learned huge lessons, as all of us did. I do believe partnering with 20th Century Fox to distribute the DVD/Blu Ray has made it a moot point...those numbers will be awesome.

That's like saying the Clippers are better than the Timberwolves.

HTYMP Did better than Twelve?

Not after Anchor Bay paid $5 million for marketing and advertising it didn't!

EP made the right decision to let HTYMP go!
