It does say they terminated the agreement under the terms and conditions of the agreement. If this is fact, there should be no problem.

I had to read it twice too:
"The Company, under the terms and conditions of an Agreement with Assurance, Inc., terminated a Marketing Agreement with Assurance. It is not clear if Assurance will pursue legal action related to the termination of the Agreement."

After the second read I didn't feel so bad, if the termination was pursuant to the terms and conditions of the agreement, then there is no issue and no one has a real case. Doesn't mean he cant try and bring one though.
