well, he was in the navy ...so, wouldn't he be eligible for veteran benefits ? ... I have a friend who went in during peace time .. and she took a nasty fall four years after she got out ..and has been disabled ever since ..they put a steel rod in her leg .. no not like for a hip .. but something .. I mean she was barely forty when this happened to her .. anyway .... it took her some years before she even found out that she was covered by the veteran thing and ever since, that's where she goes .. they deliver her drugs to her door .. AND she can go to any doctor HERE that she needs to go to IF she can't wait to go see the veterans hospital .. which is about oh maybe sixty miles from her .. in Loma Linda .. ..She's got it made..on all fronts..;)
