My employer does offer health insurance and I take advantage of it. I pay part and they pay part.

But that's not what you said. This is what you said....

My husband and I are covered by his company but I would never in my wildest dreams think that we pay for our own health care like you so glibly claimed you do.

I'm quite sure that if you had to spring for the whole thing, you could never afford to get the benefits you're getting now.

that many/most/if not all government unionized employees initially GAVE UP
A PAY RISE in return for their employer paying PART of their health insurance ..

so in a certain sense government employees are paying all of their health insurance .. it's just a FACT . that's all
