That only tells you they're SAFE certified. And when they were a different company from what I understand. Now, they're supposed to be a quarry operator.
Anyway, it doesn't tell us anymore than that they have a certification for something.
It doesn't answer the question of where they're located or how anyone can get ahold of them.
Which I would think would be important if you wanted customers to be able to order product. How would they do that and where would they go?
I contacted Susan at http://www.bcforestsafe.org/nav-contacts.html---General Inquiries (Nanaimo) 1-877-741-1060. She told me that it is true, the certificate is valid until 12/2012. But here is the "Red Flag"...Bermal Contracting Ltd is an Independent Owner Company that states that they have a rock quarry near Kaslo BC. Kaslo has a population of 1000 people and the Chamber of Commerce can not find the company in any of their directories. Don't you think that Debra Hamilton President Kaslo & Area Chamber of Commerce would have some knowledge of the existance of this company if it is in her area? According to Susan, Bermal's address is in Winlaw BC. That is about 100KM away from Kaslo, population 400. If the company exist, then why hide it under a Rock? How does one contact them? The only Raffaella Bernar that I have found in BC is in Fort Nelson. That is nowhere close to Winlaw or Kaslo!!! Believe what you want, but there is tooooo many question marks for me. JMO GL 2hars
